Budanov stated that Ukraine expects prisoner exchange this week

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the exchange of prisoners of war could take place as early as this week. According to him, this involves a larger number of military personnel than during the previous exchange.

This was reported by The Public with reference to Ukrinform.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that Ukraine is working on an exchange of prisoners of war in the near future.

Responding to questions from journalists during the Justice Conference international conference, he expressed hope that the exchange could take place as early as this week.

"We are working on it. I hope that it will happen this week," Budanov said.

He also noted that the exchange could involve a larger number of prisoners of war than during the previous exchange.

At the same time, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine refused to disclose details of the upcoming exchange.
