The Canadian Armed Forces have released photos of a consignment of modern military equipment being transferred to Ukraine. This includes, in particular, Roshel Senator armoured vehicles.

The Canadian Armed Forces have shown a shipment of modern military equipment being transferred to Ukraine. The relevant photos were published on the page of the Canadian UNIFIER training mission on the social media platform X.

The post notes that, as part of Operation UNIFIER, Canada continues to strengthen Ukraine’s defence capabilities by transferring equipment and vehicles, including Roshel Senator armoured vehicles.

The Canadian mission emphasised that each transfer of equipment enhances Ukraine’s readiness, interoperability and ability to maintain combat-ready forces.

Operation UNIFIER has been active since 2015. During this time, Canadian military personnel have trained over 47,000 Ukrainian servicemen.

Following the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Canadian instructors left Ukraine. A few months later, training for Ukrainian military personnel resumed in the UK, Poland and Latvia.

Canada had previously announced its intention to supply Ukraine with around 400 new Roshel armoured vehicles.
