The state owes 85 billion in pensions
This was reported by the First Deputy Minister of Social Policy Darina Marchak.
Marchak noted that previously the state immediately transferred the amount of the pension, assigned according to the court decision, while the amounts of additional payments for past periods determined by the courts were queued.
According to her, by 2025 the state has paid off debts only for those decisions that came into force before November 20, 2020. Others are still "waiting in line".
In response, the government approved a resolution on a unified procedure for pension payments and additional payments assigned by court decisions.
The Pension Fund will have separately allocated funds specifically for payments based on court decisions. Also, the same rules will be applied for executing court decisions and for additional payments accrued for previous years.
Payments will be made to everyone simultaneously, proportionally to the funds available in the Pension Fund's budget each specific month.
In addition, all information about decisions made by the Pension Fund for execution will be available on the Pension Fund's portal.
Marchak added that the government resolution has already come into force, and technical preparations for its implementation are underway.
