"Diia" will show Ukrainians who is viewing their data
The relevant government resolution has already been adopted, about this informs ThePublic.info citing the Telegram channel Fedorova.
According to the decision, a data access monitoring subsystem will be launched, which will record every fact of information exchange between government agencies. Users will receive notifications in the "Diia" application indicating who, when, and for what purpose they accessed their personal data.
Fedorov emphasized that the security of citizens' information is the foundation of a transparent and convenient digital state. According to him, the new system will ensure transparency in data interaction and serve as an additional safeguard against possible abuses by officials.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation clarified that the notifications will not concern cases related to criminal investigations, counterintelligence, counter-terrorism, or pre-trial investigations.
The date of the new functionality launch in "Diia" will be announced additionally.
