On the night of 4 May, Moscow and the Moscow Region came under attack from drones. Explosions were reported, and damage to buildings was observed.

On the night of 4 May, drones attacked Moscow and the Moscow Region. Explosions were heard in the city, and damage to residential buildings was reported.

According to OSINT analysts, one of the drones that crashed in Moscow was an FP-1 strike drone. It exploded approximately 3 kilometres from the Russian Ministry of Defence building and 6 kilometres from the Kremlin.

Such a drone can carry a payload of up to 120 kilograms and travel a distance of up to 1,600 kilometres.

One of the explosions damaged a residential building on Mosfilmovskaya Street. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that the walls of three rooms on the 36th floor of the building were blown out. According to him, there were no casualties.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, air defence systems allegedly shot down 117 drones over various regions of the country.
