Drones struck one of the largest Russian power plants
The affected facility supplies about 1.5% of Russia's electricity and powers defense industry facilities.

In the night of November 6, powerful explosions occurred in Volgorechensk, Kostroma region. According to reports from Russian media, drones attacked the Kostroma TPP — the third-largest thermal power plant in Russia. A large fire broke out.

The regional governor confirmed the attack, noting that "measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences." Local residents heard explosions and saw flames over the industrial zone.

The Kostroma TPP supplies about 1.5% of Russia's electricity and powers defense industry facilities.

Earlier, explosions occurred in the city of Orel, and even earlier — strikes hit an oil refinery in Bashkortostan and the "Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhnefteorgsintez" complex.
