The State Emergency Service warns of flooding in seven regions of Ukraine

According to the SES, due to warming and precipitation, a weakening of the ice cover and a rise in water levels in reservoirs are forecast. In this regard, yellow and orange danger levels have been declared in several regions.
These are Volyn, Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad and Odesa regions, as well as the Polissya territory.
The State Emergency Service has called on residents of coastal areas to be vigilant and take the warnings into account when planning their economic activities. In the event of an emergency, citizens are advised to contact the rescue service on 101.
A rise in water levels is forecast, in particular, in the basins of the Siverskyi Donets, Southern Bug, Ingul, Udy, Lopan, Kodima, Velyka Vys, Savranka, Chornyi Tashlyk, Mertvovod, and Merlo rivers, as well as in the Pripyat sub-basin.
