Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have been involved in 210 combat engagements across various sections of the front line. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka sectors.

The 1,540th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 210 combat engagements were recorded on the front line over the past 24 hours.

Russian troops carried out 111 air strikes and dropped 314 guided bombs. The enemy also deployed 8,923 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,353 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 148 using multiple launch rocket systems.

The Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck 16 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and one artillery system.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out six air strikes using 16 guided bombs. Eighty-one shelling incidents and one assault operation were recorded.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian units eight times in the areas of Starytsia, Kruglyi and in the directions of Kolodyazne, Radkivka, Lyman and Novovasylivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out one attack towards Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops attempted five times to breach the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defences near Stavky, Ozerny and Dibrova.

In the Sloviansk sector, one assault was recorded in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy attacked towards Nykyforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the occupiers carried out 31 attacks in the areas of Ivanopil, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, Novyi Shakhovyi, Vilne, and in the directions of Kostiantynivka, Novopavlivka and Kuchero-Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 32 assaults by Russian forces in the areas of Rodynske, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne and Novopidhorodne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, one attack was recorded in the direction of Zlagoda.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian troops carried out 16 attacks in the directions of Zlagoda, Vozdvizhivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Charivne, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Pryvillia and Huliaipole.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attempts to advance near Shcherbakiv, Mali Shcherbakiv, Stepove and Yegorivka.

No assault operations were recorded in the Dnipro direction.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of Russian troops forming offensive groups have been detected.

According to the General Staff, the Russian army lost 1,130 troops over the past 24 hours. The Defence Forces also destroyed two tanks, one armoured fighting vehicle, 50 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, three air defence systems, two ground-based robotic systems, 1,853 drones, 287 vehicles and two pieces of specialist equipment.
