On the 1,470th day of full-scale war, Russian troops continue to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces in various areas of the front. Over the past day, 144 combat clashes have been recorded.

Ukrainian defence forces continue to hold back Russian troops attempting to improve their position and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory. This is according to operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on 4 March 2026. In total, 144 combat engagements took place on the front line over the past day.

Russian troops launched one missile strike using one missile. The enemy also carried out 74 air strikes and dropped 255 guided bombs. In addition, 8,445 kamikaze drones were used and 3,453 shellings of Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas were recorded, 94 of which were carried out with multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian troops carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Pysantsi and Vyshneve in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Kopani, Charivne, Dolynka, Liubytske, Samiilivka, Novoukrainka, Zelenaya Dibrova and Girke in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over the past day, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces and artillery struck five areas where Russian troops, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Russian troops carried out five air strikes using 15 aerial bombs and carried out 152 shelling attacks, five of which were from multiple launch rocket systems. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

In the South Slobozhanskyi direction, two attempts to break through the defences in the direction of the settlements of Zybine and Krugle were recorded.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops attacked five times in the direction of Petropavlivka, Novoplatonivka, and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman direction, there were ten attacks in the direction of the settlements of Shyikivka, Stavy, Drobysheve, and Lyman.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian troops stopped ten attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Zakitne and Platonivka and in the direction of Riznykivka and Rai Oleksandrivka.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian troops carried out 17 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, Rusyne Yar, and in the direction of Illinivka and Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetsk, as well as in the direction of Kuchero Yar, Novooleksandrivka and Novopidhorodne.

In the Oleksandrivskyi direction, 11 attacks were recorded in the direction of Ternove, Vyshneve, Vorone, Verbove, and Zlagoda.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were 25 attacks in the areas of Huliaipole and in the direction of Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Huliaipole, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Zelenoe, and Tsvitkovo.

In the Orikhiv direction, there were two clashes near Stepnogorsk and Primorsky.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Prydniprovsk direction.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, there were no signs of the formation of offensive groups of Russian troops.

According to the General Staff, Russian troops lost 980 personnel over the past day. Five tanks, four armoured combat vehicles, 32 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, 1,733 unmanned aerial vehicles, 232 vehicles and two pieces of special equipment were also destroyed.
