The 1,486th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past 24 hours, 201 combat engagements were recorded on the front line.

Defence forces continue to repel attempts by Russian troops to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory and are inflicting losses on the enemy in terms of personnel and equipment.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 92 air strikes, deployed 257 guided bombs, used 8,273 kamikaze drones and fired 3,844 rounds at Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, 96 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Air strikes were recorded, in particular, in the areas around the settlements of Ivanivka, Prosyana, Kolomiitsy, Pysanka, Oleksandrivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Hulyaypilsk, Kopani, Tersyanka, Mirne, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhivka, Yegorivka, Veselyanka, Malokaterynivka, Yurkivka and Stepnogorske in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck seven areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, as well as one key target.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 115 shelling attacks, including 14 from multiple launch rocket systems, and launched six air strikes. Two combat engagements were recorded.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy made 19 attempts to breach the defences in the directions of Prylipka, Lyman, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Tykhyi, Bochkove, Okhrimivka, Zybine, Chuhunivka, Fyholivka and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupiansk direction, 11 attacks were recorded in the directions of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Hlushevka, Novoplatonivka, Borivska Andriivka and Kupiansk.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy carried out 18 attacks in the directions of Hrekivka, Nadiya, Novomykhailivka, Novosergiivka, Olhivka, Serednye, Drobysheve, Zarichne, Lyman, Dibrova, Tverdokhlibove and Korovyi Yar.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 12 attempts to advance towards Dibrova, Zakitne, Riznykivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka and Platonivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy twice attempted to storm positions in the Malynivka area and in the direction of Kostyantynivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 25 attacks were recorded in the directions of Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 30 assaults in the directions of Novyi Donbas, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Bilytske, Sukhetske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, nine attacks were recorded in the directions of Sichneve, Sosnivka, Krasnohirsk, and Zlagoda.

In the Huliaipole sector, 12 attacks took place in the directions of Zeleny, Zaliznychny, Dobropillia, Mirny, as well as in the areas of Solodkyi and Olenokostiantynivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attempted to advance towards Stepove.

No assault operations were recorded in the Prydniprovsk direction.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of offensive groupings were detected.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces suffered 1,610 casualties. Three tanks, 21 armoured fighting vehicles, 31 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 1,480 drones, 245 vehicles and four pieces of specialist equipment were also destroyed.
