The General Staff assures that there is no encirclement in the Pokrovsk area.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has refuted the information about the encirclement of Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk–Myrnograd area.

Defense actions are ongoing in the Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad areas: according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, encirclement of Ukrainian units has not been recorded. This is reported by «Ukrainska Pravda».

According to the staff, active measures are underway to block the enemy, who is attempting to penetrate and establish himself in the city. The defense zone involves assault units of the 425th Separate Assault Brigade, SBS operators, reinforced special purpose groups, as well as units of the VSP, NGU, and GUR MO of Ukraine.

In the last 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 26 occupiers, and another 64 were wounded. 58 enemy infantry shelters have been hit or damaged.

Overall, since the beginning of the week, enemy losses in the Pokrovsk direction amount to 249 killed (of which 159 are irrecoverable). 7 UAV control points, 26 units of automotive and motorcycle equipment, one tank, and one infantry fighting vehicle have been destroyed.

Additionally, operations have been intensified in the Dobropillia area: yesterday, assault units advanced from 100 to 700 meters. A total of 188.9 km² of territory has been liberated, and another 249.9 km² has been cleared of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
