MP Oleksiy Honcharenko has announced that he has paid the bail for two men who were taken into custody following a clash with representatives of the TCC in the Volyn region. The total amount, including the fee, came to over 60,000 hryvnias

Goncharenko wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

According to the MP, he posted bail for Petro Smirnov and Mark Kuzub, who had previously been sent to a remand centre following an incident in Volyn. Goncharenko also published proof of payment. According to him, a bail of 29,952 hryvnias and a commission of 299.52 hryvnias were paid for each of the men. The total amount of payments was 60,503 hryvnias.

The MP claims that the men were defending themselves after people wearing balaclavas entered private property. According to him, Petro Smirnov and Mark Kuzub “fought back with shovels”, and it later emerged that the participants in the conflict were representatives of the TCC. Goncharenko stated that he would continue to monitor this case.
