How does the search function work in "Reserve+" and when can items be delivered to the TCC?
This was announced by former Deputy Prosecutor General Mykola Golomsha on the air of "Rano.LIVE".
Law enforcement officers have access to the same electronic databases as territorial recruitment and social support centres.
According to former Deputy Prosecutor General Mykola Golomsha, police officers can immediately check information about a person and their status in the relevant registration systems.
If a conscript does not have confirmation of his reservation or other documents explaining his status, he may be taken to the TCC to clarify the circumstances.
"If a person does not have confirmation of their reservation or other documents explaining their status, they may be taken to the TCC to clarify the circumstances and serve them with a summons, in particular to undergo a military medical examination," Golomsha said.
He stressed that all procedures are provided for by regulatory and legal acts, and citizens must independently monitor changes in legislation.
"Ignorance of the laws in Ukraine does not exempt you from responsibility. Therefore, in this case, even if a citizen does not have a corresponding mark indicating that the search has been lifted, it will still show up in "Reserve+" that they are not registered there," he said.
Separately, the former official explained that a search for a conscript declared by the TCC may, in certain cases, lose its legal force due to the statute of limitations.
Violation of military registration rules in Ukraine is considered an administrative offence. It can only be prosecuted within the period specified by law.
If one year has passed since the violation was committed, the TCC no longer has legal grounds to impose a fine or continue the search.
In this case, the status can be appealed in court and cancelled, although the person still remains on military registration.
