In the Zhytomyr region, law enforcement officers handed over four lorries, which had previously belonged to Russian businesspeople, to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard. The vehicles had been used for commercial activities within Ukraine.

Police officers in the Zhytomyr region have handed over four seized lorries, which previously belonged to Russian businessmen, to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard.

The handover was carried out by investigators from the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zhytomyr Oblast, under the procedural supervision of the Zhytomyr District Prosecutor’s Office.

During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that the DAF FT XF, Mercedes-Benz Actros, Iveco Stralis and MAN TGX lorries were being used by Russian businesspeople to carry out commercial activities on Ukrainian territory.

On the basis of court orders, the vehicles were handed over to military units of the National Guard of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

From now on, the seized property will be used to meet the needs of the Defence Forces and to carry out combat and special operations.
