Ministry of Defence: the reform of the TCC will be presented shortly
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, the reform is already in the preparatory stage.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has stated that it plans to present a comprehensive reform of the territorial recruitment and social support centres (TRSCs and SSCs) at a government meeting in the near future. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defence during Question Time in the Verkhovna Rada.

This has been reported by NV.

According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, the reform is already in the preparatory stage.

“The reform (regarding the TCC and SP — ed.) will go ahead. It is being prepared. It is planned to be presented at a government meeting in the near future,” he stated in parliament.

No exact dates for the presentation have been given as yet.

Inspections of Territorial Recruitment Centres

The ministry also announced a decision to carry out a comprehensive inspection of certain territorial recruitment centres. Specifically, this concerns the Mykolaiv and Odesa Territorial Recruitment Centres.

It is noted separately that an operational inspection is currently underway at the Uman Territorial Recruitment Centre.

Reform of the mobilisation system

The Ministry of Defence reiterated that work is ongoing on a comprehensive reform of the recruitment and mobilisation system. Its aim is to create a more modern, transparent and effective model for manning the Defence Forces.

According to the ministry, the document is being drafted in collaboration with the General Staff, the military command and members of parliament.

The Armed Forces have previously stated that the TCCs account for around 90 per cent of mobilisation activities, with a further 10 per cent carried out by recruitment centres.

The Ministry of Defence has already announced reforms to the mobilisation system on several occasions, but the details have not yet been made public.
