Iran has announced strikes on targets in Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain following US attacks

Iran has stated that it attacked military targets in Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain using drones in response to overnight strikes by the United States. Tehran has also reported that there were casualties as a result of the US attacks.

The Iranian military stated that it had carried out strikes on targets in Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain using a large number of kamikaze drones. According to them, this was in response to overnight strikes by the United States.

According to the Iranian side, the attack struck a Patriot air defence system in Kuwait, an early warning system in Qatar and a fuel tank in Bahrain.

The Iranian military stated that these strikes were a continuation of operations against US military bases in the region.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Ministry of Health reported that 14 people were killed and a further 78 injured during the two days of US strikes. Of these, 47 were hospitalised.
