Benji Madden announced the birth of his child on Instagram.
53-year-old Cameron Diaz and 47-year-old musician Benji Madden have become parents for the third time.
The couple have welcomed a son.
Madden shared the news of the new addition to the family on Instagram.
He also revealed the name of the newborn boy – Nautas Madden.
“Cameron and I are happy, delighted and feel immensely blessed to announce the birth of our third child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world, son!” wrote the musician.
Benji also noted that he and Cameron are happy with their family and grateful for their children.
“We love our life with our family – our children are healthy and happy, and we are grateful! We’re having the time of our lives. Sending our warmest wishes to everyone – the Madden family,” he added.
The musician also explained the meaning of his son’s name.
According to him, the name Nautas comes from the Latin word “nauta”.
It means a sailor, a traveller, and also “one who sets off on a journey and is not afraid of the unknown”.
Benji Madden posted a “character sheet” for his newborn son, where he included this explanation.
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have been married for 11 years.
In 2020, the couple became parents to a daughter, whom they named Reddix.
In 2024, the couple welcomed their son, Cardinal.
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have not spoken publicly about the circumstances surrounding the births of their children.
However, it is believed that the children were carried by surrogate mothers.
