An A-50 aircraft was damaged during Ukraine’s strike on a Russian factory
This is according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On 17 March, Ukrainian forces struck targets at the 123rd Aircraft Repair Plant in the town of Staraya Russa (Novgorod Oblast, Russian Federation). At that time, an A-50 aircraft was undergoing maintenance there — presumably awaiting modernisation.
And on 20 March, the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant in the Luhansk region came under attack. The plant manufactures artillery shell casings, as well as producing and repairing armour for the Russian army’s military equipment.
Troops also struck the ‘Vostochny’ training ground in Novopetrivka in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
