There are noticeably fewer cars on the streets. In Novorossiysk, petrol has run out at all petrol stations
This is reported by the Russian publication *Meduza*.
The Municipal Control Centre (MCC) of the Novorossiysk administration has officially announced that ‘at present, there is no petrol available at petrol stations’.
During the fuel crisis, the Novorossiysk MCC launched a map where users can check the availability of fuel at city petrol stations online. On 3 July, there was no petrol at any of the petrol stations marked on this map; only diesel was available.
Although petrol is not available on the open market, it is still possible to refuel in Novorossiysk using fuel cards issued by companies to their employees.
The publication 93.ru, quoting a Novorossiysk resident named Natalia, reports that due to the fuel crisis, air conditioning is not working on public transport, taxi fares have risen, and there are noticeably fewer cars on the streets.
Fuel shortages began in Novorossiysk on 10 June. In early July, residents were forced to queue for hours to buy petrol at the few petrol stations where it was still available.
As a reminder, on 1 July it was reported that the fuel crisis in Russia had spread to almost all regions.
