The Russian Ministry of Defence has reported on the ‘completion of the liberation of the LPR’ — and this is not the first time

On the night of 5 June, the Unmanned Systems Forces reported strikes against the occupiers’ vessels in the ports of the temporarily occupied cities of Mariupol and Berdiansk, as well as in the coastal waters of the Sea of Azov.

On 5 June, a civilian food processing plant came under attack from Russian drones. Its administrative building was damaged and there have been fatalities.

On the morning of 5 June, a marine drone was discovered in the port of Constanța, which subsequently self-detonated. Following the incident, access to the area was restricted, and the Romanian security services launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

Over the past 24 hours and throughout the night, Russian forces have launched attacks on several regions of Ukraine. There have been casualties, including children, and damage has been caused to residential buildings, businesses and infrastructure.

Throughout May, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out long-range strikes against oil refining and fuel logistics facilities in the Russian Federation. The maximum strike range reached 1,700 kilometres from Ukraine’s state border.
