National Cashback
Funds accumulated on cards under the ‘National Cashback’ scheme must be used by 30 June 2026 inclusive.

This has been announced by the Ministry of Economy.

Any unused funds will be returned to the state budget at the end of the day.

However, the programme itself will continue to operate as usual. Cashback for purchases of Ukrainian goods will continue to be credited monthly after the 20th.

The Ministry of Economy noted that Ukrainians will receive their April payments at the end of May — these funds must also be spent by the end of June. Cashback for purchases made in May will be credited in July.

Under the terms of the programme, Ukrainians can receive 5% or 15% cashback on purchases of Ukrainian-made goods.

  • 5% cashback is awarded for food, pharmacy products, car accessories, and garden and vegetable garden supplies.
  • 15% is awarded for clothing, footwear, electronics, toys, home improvement and hobby items, as well as certain food products, including cheese, pasta, oats and buckwheat.

The accumulated funds can be used to pay for utilities and postal services, or to purchase Ukrainian food products, books, medicines and medical supplies. The money can also be donated to charity or to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

To join the scheme, you need to open a special card with one of the partner banks and link it via the ‘Diya’ app. Cashback is credited only for contactless purchases of goods participating in the scheme.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that the National Cashback scheme has been extended in Ukraine for a further two years.
