Over the past 24 hours, 189 clashes have taken place on the front line, with the highest number of attacks recorded in the Pokrovsk sector
The 1,526th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Defence forces are holding back the enemy’s advance and inflicting losses on them in terms of personnel and equipment.
Over the past 24 hours, 189 combat engagements were recorded. The enemy carried out 84 air strikes and dropped 234 guided bombs. It also deployed 8,409 kamikaze drones and fired 3,019 rounds at Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 42 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Air strikes were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Zelen, Rivne, Charivne, Dolynka, Hulyaypilsk, Lyubytske, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhivska, Malokaterynivka and Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck four drone control centres, five enemy concentration areas and another key target.
One attack was repelled in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out 86 shelling attacks and six air strikes using 15 guided bombs.
In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy carried out eight attacks; in the Kupianskyi sector, four; in the Lyman sector, six; and in the Slovianskyi sector, also six.
In the Kostyantynivka sector, 21 attacks were recorded. In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 48 assaults, the highest figure for the day.
Six attacks took place in the Oleksandrivka sector, and 29 in the Huliaipole sector. Three attacks were repelled in the Prydniprovsk sector.
No enemy offensive operations were recorded in the Kramatorsk and Orikhiv sectors. No signs of offensive groupings were detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.
Russian troop losses over the past 24 hours amounted to 1,180 personnel. Two tanks, three armoured fighting vehicles, 54 artillery systems, two air defence systems, 1,775 drones, 245 vehicles and five pieces of specialised equipment were also destroyed.
