The Ukrainian armed forces continue to repel attempts by Russian troops to advance deeper into the country. Over the past 24 hours, there have been 120 combat engagements.

The 1,503rd day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine is now underway.

Defence forces are repelling the occupiers’ attempts to improve their position and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment.

Over the past 24 hours, 120 combat engagements have been recorded. The enemy carried out 72 air strikes, dropped 242 guided bombs, deployed 8,367 kamikaze drones and fired 3,404 rounds at Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, 52 of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems.

Air strikes targeted areas around the settlements of Varvarivka, Tsvitkove, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Kopani, Zaliznychne, Novoselivka, Dolynka, Komyshuvakha and Novoyakovlevka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as Rozliv and Zorivka in Kherson Oblast.

The Defence Forces’ aviation, missile forces and artillery struck eight areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, a drone control centre and another key facility.

In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out one air strike using three guided bombs and conducted 83 shelling attacks, two of which involved multiple launch rocket systems. One combat engagement was recorded.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy made two attempts to breach the defences in the directions of Starytsia and Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, seven attacks took place in the directions of Novoosynove, Novoplatonivka, Petropavlivka and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy carried out two attacks in the directions of Kopanka and Lyman.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled four enemy advances in the areas of Yampil, Zakitne and Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy attacked twice in the area of Orikhovo-Vasylivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 19 attacks were recorded near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Kleban Byka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defence Forces repelled 25 assaults in the areas of Bilytske, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Udachne, Muravka, Novopavlivka and Filiya.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out eight attacks in the areas of Sichneve, Krasnohirsk, and in the directions of Sosnivka, Stepove, Verbove and Kalynivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, 12 attacks took place in the directions of Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Huliaipole, Sviatopetrivka, Varvarivka and Zelenyi.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Orikhiv sector.

In the Dnipro sector, the enemy attempted to storm positions three times in the direction of Antonivsky Bridge and near Bilohrudy Island.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of offensive formations were detected.

Russian forces suffered 940 casualties over the past 24 hours. Two tanks, 10 armoured fighting vehicles, 58 artillery systems, 1,953 unmanned aerial vehicles and 259 vehicles were also destroyed.
