Over the past day, there were 121 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defence Forces and Russian troops on the front line. The Russian army used dozens of missiles, air strikes and almost ten thousand kamikaze drones.

The 1,474th day of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun. Ukrainian defence forces continue to repel attempts by Russian troops to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory.

On 7 March, 121 combat engagements were recorded on the front line.

Russian troops launched three missile strikes using 33 missiles. There were also 86 air strikes, during which 254 guided bombs were dropped.

In addition, the Russian army used 9,837 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,514 shellings of Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, 49 of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian troops carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Pysantsi, Kolomyitsi, Pokrovske, Chornenkove, Pidhavrylivka, Lisne, Svitla Dolyna, Zelena Dibrova, Kopani, Charivne, Rivne, Huliaipilske, Veselyanka and Malokaterynivka.

The Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces, and artillery struck eleven areas where enemy forces and equipment were concentrated, two unmanned aerial vehicle control points, and one electronic warfare system.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 139 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, four of them using multiple launch rocket systems. Russian troops also carried out three air strikes using eight guided bombs.

In the South Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attempted five times to break through the defences in the areas of Grafskyi, Vilcha, Zybino, Pishchane, and Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, four enemy attacks were recorded in the areas of Pishchane, Kurylivka, Kivsharivka, and Novoosynove.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked six times in the areas of Seredny, Novyi Mir, and Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian troops stopped 12 attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Platonivka, Rai Oleksandrivka, Kalenivka, Dronivka, Zakytne, Riznykivka, and Pazene.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian units attacked in the direction of Minkivka.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 15 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbinivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 20 assaults by Russian troops in the areas of Novy Donbas, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodne, Nikanorivka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, and Hryshyne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of Verbove, Novohryhorivka, and Vorone.

In the Huliaipole direction, 12 attacks by Russian troops were recorded in the areas of Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Mirne, and Zeleny.

Russian troops did not conduct any offensive operations in the Orikhiv direction.

No enemy assault operations were recorded in the Prydniprovsk direction.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, there were no signs of the formation of offensive groups of Russian troops.

Ukrainian defence forces continue to counter the Russian army on all sections of the front.
