National Cashback: funds must be used by 30 June 2026
The Ukrainian Ministry of Economy has reminded participants in the “National Cashback” scheme that the funds they have accumulated must be used by 30 June 2026 inclusive. The ministry noted that the scheme itself will continue to operate as normal, and payments for purchases of Ukrainian goods will continue to be made after the 20th of the following month.

This has been announced by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

Deadline for participants in the National Cashback scheme

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has warned participants in the “National Cashback” programme that the accumulated funds must be spent by 30 June 2026 inclusive.

The Ministry of Economy has emphasised that the programme is not being discontinued and will continue to operate as normal.

The accrual of compensation for the purchase of Ukrainian goods will remain unchanged. Payments will be made after the 20th of the following month.

When will the new payments be made?

Ukrainians will receive cashback for purchases made in April at the end of May.

These funds must also be used by the end of June.

Payments for purchases made in May are scheduled for July. Thereafter, payments will be made according to the standard schedule.

What cashback can you receive

Programme participants can receive 5% or 15% cashback on purchases of Ukrainian-made goods.

The 5% cashback applies to food, pharmacy products, car accessories, as well as garden and vegetable garden products.

A 15% cashback is awarded for purchases of clothing, footwear, electronics, toys, home improvement and hobby items.

The higher cashback rate also applies to certain food items, including cheese, pasta, oats and buckwheat.

What can the funds be spent on

The accumulated funds can be used to pay for utility and postal services, and to purchase Ukrainian food products, medicines, books and other printed materials.

The funds can also be directed towards charity and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Economy has reminded the public that cashback is only awarded for cashless payments for goods participating in the programme.

What is known about the programme

The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the “National Cashback” programme for a further two years.

According to government data, during the initiative’s operation, most Ukrainians have used the payments received primarily to pay for utility bills.

Previously, participants in the “National Cashback” programme were advised to select a bank card in the “Diya” app by 15 May to receive their accumulated payments.

This was necessary to ensure funds were correctly credited to the system.
