Bad weather and frost: The State Emergency Service issues an orange alert

Rain and squalls: forecast for 26 April
Thunderstorms are expected on Sunday, 26 April, during the day in most southern and central regions, as well as in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.

Hazards: hail and wind gusts of 15–20 m/s are possible in some areas.

Scale: on 26 and 27 April, strong winds will spread across the whole of Ukraine (yellow danger level).
Drivers and pedestrians are urged to be vigilant: weather conditions may disrupt traffic and the work of energy and utility services.
Frosts: a threat to crops on 27–28 April
A sharp drop in temperature is expected on the nights of 27 and 28 April:

Orange alert: frosts of 0–3°C will be recorded.

Yellow level (South and South-East): ground temperatures will drop to 0–5°.
Night-time frosts pose a serious threat to early-flowering fruit trees. Experts recommend that farm owners take steps in advance to protect their orchards in order to safeguard the future harvest.
