Overnight, Russia launched a massive attack using various types of drones, most of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defence forces.

On the night of 14–15 March 2026, Russian forces carried out another drone attack on Ukrainian territory. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy deployed 97 attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The launches were carried out from several locations within the Russian Federation — Bryansk, Orel, Kursk and Millerovo — as well as from the Gvardeisky district in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Around 70 of the drones were Shahed-type strike UAVs.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare (EW) units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

According to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defence (AD) units destroyed or neutralised 90 enemy drones.

At the same time, five strike UAVs were recorded hitting five different locations. Furthermore, debris from downed drones was found in two locations.

The Air Force reports that the attack is ongoing: several enemy drones remain in Ukrainian airspace. Citizens are urged to follow safety guidelines during air raid alerts.
