Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have launched strikes on several regions of Ukraine. The attacks have resulted in fatalities, dozens of injuries, and the destruction of residential buildings, businesses and civilian infrastructure.

Sumy Region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out 56 strikes on 22 settlements in the region.

In the Velykopysarivska community, a Russian drone struck a private home. The owner of the house, who was due to turn 58 the following day, was killed.

In the Stetskiv community, a drone struck a residential building. A 65-year-old man sustained serious injuries, was hospitalised, but died in hospital.

According to updated police figures, a total of three people were killed in the Sumy region over the past 24 hours. Investigative teams and bomb disposal experts were working at the sites of the strikes. Five people were evacuated from border communities.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Russian forces attacked six districts of the region more than ten times, using drones, artillery and aerial bombs.

In the Nikopol district, the communities of Myrivka, Pokrovka and Marganets were hit. A social care facility was damaged.

In the Dniprovskyi district, a service station caught fire. In the town of Samar, a large-scale fire broke out at a warehouse where agricultural machinery was stored. In Kamianske, a petrol station caught fire.

In the Synelnykivskyi district, a farm building caught fire in the Pokrovska community. In Shakhtarsk, a block of flats and several cars were damaged.

In Kryvyi Rih, a Russian drone struck a civilian infrastructure facility. The premises of a logistics company caught fire. Eleven units of the State Emergency Service were deployed to extinguish the blaze. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

Rescue workers have extinguished all fires across the region.

Kharkiv region

In Kharkiv, a Russian FPV drone struck a petrol station in the Shevchenkivskyi district. A fuel pump caught fire, but the blaze was quickly brought under control.

A 53-year-old woman was injured and diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.

In total, over the past 24 hours, Kharkiv and eight other towns and villages in the region came under attack. Four people were injured. In Kharkiv, railway infrastructure and a petrol station were damaged.

Kherson region

Two people were killed as a result of Russian shelling over the past 24 hours. A further 30 people were injured, including two children.

Zaporizhzhia region

Russian forces carried out 1,163 strikes on 45 settlements in the region.

Three people were killed as a result of the attacks, and a further 28 were injured.

There were 248 reports of damage to infrastructure, residential buildings, vehicles and farm buildings.

Poltava region

Russian troops attacked one of the industrial enterprises in the Poltava district.

Fires broke out at several locations. Despite repeated strikes, the emergency services managed to extinguish all the fires.

According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

Mykolaiv Region

On 6 July and during the night of 7 July, Russian forces attacked the region using Shahed and ‘Gerbera’ strike drones.

Three people were injured as a result of the attacks.

Chernihiv Oblast

On the evening of 6 July, Russian drones struck a timber processing plant and an energy facility in Koryukivka.

The strikes caused a fire.

Donetsk region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have wounded 19 residents of the Donetsk region.
