Over the past 24 hours, 221 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. The highest number of attacks by Russian forces took place in the Pokrovsk, Huliaipole and Lyman sectors.

The 1,581st day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 221 combat engagements were recorded on the front line over the past 24 hours.

Russian forces carried out 80 air strikes and dropped 261 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 9,591 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,957 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 42 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck 11 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, four artillery systems and three drone control centres.

Two combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. Russian forces carried out 69 attacks on Ukrainian units’ positions and populated areas, including two using MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops’ positions 12 times in the directions of Vilcha, Kozacha Lopana, Symynivka, Pokalyane, Bochkove, Kolodyazne and near Starytsia.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched two attacks in the directions of Kucheriivka and Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attempted to breach the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defences 20 times in the areas of Novoselivka, Novomykhailivka and Kopanok, as well as in the directions of Borova, Drobysheve, Ozerny, Lyman and Dibrova.

In the Sloviansk sector, the occupiers carried out 16 assaults near Riznykivka, Kaleniky, Zakytne, as well as in the directions of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, one attack was recorded near Nykyforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 14 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 28 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of Rodynske, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Dorozhne, as well as in the directions of Serhiivka, Muravka, Shevchenko, Vilne and Matyashove.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops carried out three assaults in the areas of Sichneve, Verbove and Novozaporizhzhia, but were repelled.

On the Huliaipole front, the occupiers launched 22 attacks in the areas of Dobropillia, Zlagoda and Olenokostiantynivka, as well as in the directions of Huliaipole, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled an enemy attempt to advance in the Stepove area.

In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not carry out any offensive operations.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups have been detected.

The General Staff noted that Ukrainian defenders continue to systematically destroy the enemy and hold their defences across all sections of the front.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army suffered losses of 1,390 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed seven armoured fighting vehicles, 74 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, seven ground-based robotic systems, 1,851 drones, 626 vehicles and eight pieces of specialised equipment.
