Thunderstorms, hail and gale-force winds of 15–20 m/s: which regions of Ukraine will be affected by the bad weather on 23 June
On the afternoon of 23 June, a Level 1 weather warning was issued for several regions of Ukraine. Here’s a look at which regions are set to be hit by bad weather and heavy rain.
During the day on 23 June, the bad weather will affect a much larger area – thunderstorms are expected in the southern part of the country and in most of the western and central regions.
Forecasters are warning of three dangerous phenomena:
- thunderstorms;
- hail in some areas;
- gusts of wind at 15–20 m/s.
A level one warning (yellow) has been issued.
As previously reported, the average air temperature in Ukraine this June is expected to exceed the long-term climatic norm by at least one and a half degrees.
