Over the past 24 hours, 234 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. Russian forces were most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 40 assaults.

The 1,568th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past 24 hours, 234 combat engagements were recorded along the front line.

According to updated data, Russian forces carried out 103 air strikes and dropped 317 guided bombs. The enemy also deployed 9,834 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,146 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, 43 of which were conducted using multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces’ aviation struck two artillery systems, two drone control centres, four command posts, six troop concentration areas and another key enemy target.

Six combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. Russian troops carried out two air strikes using five guided bombs and conducted 63 shelling attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, Ukrainian units repelled eleven attacks in the areas of Prylipka, Zapadne, Starytsia, Okhrimivka and Lyman.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance three times near Shyikivka, Petropavlivka and in the direction of Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman sector, fourteen attacks were recorded in the areas of Borova, Chervonyi Stav, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Ozernyi, Lyman and Dibrova.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops stormed the Defence Forces’ positions thirteen times near Zakytne, Riznykivka and in the directions of Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy did not carry out any offensive operations.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the occupiers carried out sixteen attacks in the areas of Ivanopil, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Mykolaipil and Toretsk.

The highest number of combat engagements was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector. Here, Ukrainian forces repelled 40 enemy assaults near Shakove, Zolotyi Kolodiz, Vilne, Bilytske, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopavlivka, Novyi Donbas, Nikanorivka, Novooleksandrivka and Pokrovsk.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, one attack took place near Oleksandrohrad.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces carried out 22 attacks in the areas of Rybne, Vozdvizhivka, Rizdvyanka, Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Hirky, Olenokostyantynivka, Verkhnia Tersa and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks in the areas of Stepove, Stepnogorsk, Mala Tokmachka and Plavni.

In the Dnipro direction, the enemy did not carry out any offensive operations. Furthermore, in the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of offensive groupings being formed were detected.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces suffered 1,190 casualties over the past 24 hours. Three tanks, seven armoured fighting vehicles, 74 artillery systems, six multiple launch rocket systems, three air defence systems, five ground-based robotic systems, 2,204 drones, 376 vehicles and four pieces of specialist equipment.
