According to him, early this morning Ukrainian forces attempted to launch a missile strike on one of the bridges from Henichesk to the Arabat Spit.
Specialist services are currently working at the scene to establish the circumstances. Traffic across the bridge has been temporarily suspended.
This occurred against the backdrop of two strikes on another route from the occupied part of the Kherson region to Crimea — the Chongar Bridge. It was first attacked on 7 June, after which traffic was restored in a two-way system; however, on 9 May, Ukrainian units launched a second strike using drones, and traffic across the bridge was halted once again.
At the time, Saldo advised using alternative routes via Armiansk and Perekop.
It should be noted that in recent weeks, pro-Russian bloggers have reported an intensified campaign of Ukrainian drone strikes against military transport in southern Ukraine. On 30 May, restrictions on the sale of A-95 petrol were introduced in the temporarily occupied Crimea, and the same was subsequently done in the occupied Luhansk region.
