Over the past 24 hours, there have been 248 skirmishes on the front line, with the heaviest fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk sector
The 1,577th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past 24 hours, 248 combat engagements were recorded on the front line.
According to updated information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops carried out three missile strikes, firing nine missiles. The enemy also carried out 90 air strikes and dropped 289 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the Russian army deployed 10,031 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,135 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
In the Sumy region, Tovstodubove and Sumy were targeted by air strikes.
The Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck one drone command post, six areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, two artillery systems and six command posts.
Six engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out 74 attacks, including six using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units nine times in the areas of Vovchansk, Lyman, Starytsia and in the direction of Izbytske and Okhrimivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled four attempts by the enemy to advance towards Radkivka and Kolisnykivka.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy made 16 attempts to breach the defences in the areas of Shyikivka, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka, Derylove, Zarichne and Yampil.
In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops launched 11 assaults on the Defence Forces’ positions towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka, as well as in the areas of Zakytne and Kaleniky.
In the Kramatorsk sector, one clash took place near Malynivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the occupiers carried out 23 attacks near Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Toretsk and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 assaults in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Rodynske, Novomykolaivka, Filiya, as well as in the direction of Vasylivka, Bilytske, Dorozhne, Shevchenko, Serhiivka and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched four attacks towards Oleksandrohrad and Novozaporizhzhia.
On the Huliaipole sector, Russian troops carried out 24 attacks in the direction of Dobropillia, Huliaipole, Hirky, Tsvitkove and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled four attacks in the areas of Stepnogorsk and Stepove.
No active hostilities were recorded in the Dnipro sector.
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army suffered losses of 1,370 personnel. Two tanks, four armoured fighting vehicles, 58 artillery systems, four multiple launch rocket systems, one air defence system, four ground-based robotic systems, four missiles, 1,968 drones, 441 vehicles and three pieces of specialised equipment were destroyed.
