Over the past 24 hours, 259 combat engagements were recorded along the front line. The heaviest fighting took place in the Pokrovsk, Kursk, Sloviansk and Huliaipole sectors.

The 1,590th day of Russia’s large-scale war against Ukraine has begun. Over the past 24 hours, 259 combat engagements were recorded on the front line.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops carried out two missile strikes using two missiles, conducted 79 air strikes and dropped 240 guided bombs. The enemy also deployed 9,463 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,924 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 36 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck five areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and one command post.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out 63 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including six using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, 14 attacks were recorded in the direction of Ternova, Chaikivka, Shevyakivka, Zarubinka and Khatne, as well as in the areas of Lyman, Starytsia and Artilne.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched a single attack in the Borivska Andriivka area.

In the Lyman sector, 11 attacks were recorded in the areas around Novoselivka and towards Stavky, Ozerny, Lyman and Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops carried out 28 assaults towards Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka and in the Riznykivka area.

In the Kramatorsk sector, three clashes took place towards Tykhonivka, Mykolaivka and in the Chasovyi Yar area.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the areas of Novodmytrivka, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka and towards Raiske.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 33 assaults in the areas of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Vasylivka, Novomykolaivka, Molodetskyi, Hryshyne, Udachne and towards Toretsk, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Serhiivka, Novohryshyne, Novopavlivka and Novopidhorodne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks in the areas of Sichneve, Zlagoda and Vorone.

On the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 22 attacks in the areas of Dobropillia and Myrne, and towards Hirky, Rivne, Krynychne, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipole and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, one attempt by the enemy to advance was recorded in the area of Mali Shcherbaky.

There were no offensive operations in the Dnipro sector. In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of offensive groupings being formed were detected.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army suffered losses of 1,140 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed five armoured fighting vehicles, 57 artillery systems, seven multiple launch rocket systems, nine ground-based robotic systems, 2,123 drones, one missile, 353 vehicles and seven pieces of specialised equipment.
