Most recipients had the one-off targeted payment of 1,500 UAH credited to their accounts by 25 April 2026. However, some Ukrainians will receive this payment in May – specifically those whose pension or social assistance was granted immediately before 1 April.

This has been announced by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

A special one-off payment of 1,500 UAH for Ukrainians was credited in April 2026. The funds are intended for pensioners and several other categories of citizens.

The vast majority of recipients received the payment on their card by 25 April. At the same time, the Pension Fund has explained who will receive these funds in May.

According to Olena Korchaka, those who did not receive the benefit in April but meet the established criteria may have the payment credited this month.

Who will receive 1,500 UAH in May

In May, 1,500 UAH is to be paid to those citizens who were awarded a pension or social assistance just before 1 April.

There is no exact payment date. However, the pension payment schedule for 2026 provides for payments between the 4th and 25th of each month.

“The procedure allows for benefits or pensions to be paid in April, with the corresponding one-off payment made in May,” explained the Pension Fund.

What is known about the one-off benefit

A one-off targeted benefit of 1,500 UAH is provided to specific categories of people.

One of the conditions is that the person must receive less than 10 times the subsistence minimum for persons unable to work. In 2026, this amounts to 25,950 UAH.

However, this restriction does not apply to defenders and Chernobyl accident liquidators. For them, the payment is calculated without reference to the income threshold.

If a person has two or more grounds for receiving such assistance, only one payment will be made.

Previously, the Pension Fund of Ukraine also explained which citizens are eligible to receive 10 pensions simultaneously.

As reported by ThePublic, in Kyiv, residents of buildings where utility networks were damaged due to Russian attacks can receive a one-off financial assistance payment of 40,000 UAH. The payment is provided under the city programme “Care. Towards Kyiv Residents” and is available to owners or co-owners of housing damaged after 1 January 2026.
