Over 200 DJI Matrice reconnaissance drones will be transferred to five brigades of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. The total cost of the equipment is approximately 800,000 US dollars.

With the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, more than 200 DJI Matrice reconnaissance drones were transferred to five brigades of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga. According to him, the equipment will be received by the Azov and Lyut units, the 21st separate mechanised brigade, which are under the supervision of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the STRIKS unmanned systems unit.

The drones were purchased with charitable donations collected in the Czech Republic. The minister noted that this is the result of joint efforts by diplomats, partners and citizens who support Ukraine.

Andriy Sybiga emphasised that reconnaissance drones will help save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers, increase the accuracy of decisions and contribute to superiority on the battlefield.

The minister also noted that employees from the attaché to the deputy minister were involved in loading the equipment. According to him, the diplomatic front is working systematically and continuously.
