In Budapest, the US Secretary of State will meet with leading Hungarian officials. The parties plan to discuss bilateral and regional security issues, commitment to peaceful processes for resolving global conflicts, and the development of an energy partnership between the US and Hungary.
The State Department emphasises that Rubio's trip aims to strengthen cooperation with allies in Central Europe against the backdrop of current security challenges and the need to strengthen the region's energy stability.
