Power cuts are returning. Due to the heatwave, restrictions are being introduced across all regions
Power cut on 1 July
Measures to restrict electricity consumption will be implemented across all regions of Ukraine on 1 July.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.

The restrictions are being introduced due to high energy consumption caused by the heatwave.

Specifically, between 17:00 and 22:00, power restriction schedules will be applied to industry, and hourly power cuts will be implemented for all categories of consumers (up to the first priority level).

The situation in the power system may change. You can find the schedule of likely power cuts for your address on the official websites of your region’s regional power distribution company.

Energy suppliers have urged people to use high-power electrical appliances during the day — between 10:00 and 16:00.

Industrial consumers and businesses have been reminded of the option to import electricity in quantities exceeding 60 per cent of their own consumption. This will protect them from hourly power cuts and significantly help the power system, according to Ukrenergo.
