Temperature readings in the regions
In the west of the country, the day will be quite pleasant: in Lviv, Lutsk and Rivne, temperatures will rise to +19°...+21°C. It will be warmest in Zakarpattia — temperatures of up to +20°C are expected in Uzhhorod, whilst in Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi the air will warm up to +18°...+20°C.
The northern and central regions will start the day with moderate warmth. In Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Chernihiv, temperatures will range from +17° to +20°C. In Kropyvnytskyi and Vinnytsia, temperatures are expected to be around +14°...+16°C.
It will be coolest today in the east and parts of southern Ukraine. In Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk, daytime temperatures will not exceed +13°...+15°C. The situation is similar in the coastal cities: temperatures of up to +15°C are forecast in Odesa and Mykolaiv.
General situation and precipitation
Night-time temperatures across the country were quite low — ranging from +2° to +8°C, whilst in central regions the mercury dropped to 0°C in some places. No precipitation is forecast during the day, and the wind will be mostly light, making for pleasant walks in the spring sunshine.
