Missile attack on Kharkiv: critical infrastructure facilities under attack
On the afternoon of 19 January, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kharkiv, striking a critical infrastructure facility. This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov. According to him, the first strike was recorded in the Slobidska district, followed by repeated explosions in the city.
The mayor later clarified that the enemy had fired four missiles at the critical infrastructure facility, causing significant damage. In addition, a strike by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was recorded in the Saltivsky district, resulting in broken windows in residential buildings and damaged cars.
There are also reports of an enemy drone strike on the central part of Kharkiv. The relevant services are currently clarifying the details of the attacks, the extent of the damage and the possible consequences for the city's infrastructure.
