Russians attacked an evacuation crew with a drone in the Donetsk region: one person has been killed and others injured

On the morning of 20 March, Russian forces struck a vehicle belonging to the ‘Proliska’ humanitarian mission in the Donetsk region with a drone. The attack resulted in one fatality and several injuries.

Yevhen Kaplin, head of the "Proliska" humanitarian mission, reported this on Facebook.

According to him, the occupiers attacked the evacuation crew in the village of Oleksievo-Druzhkivka.

"Unfortunately, there are casualties and fatalities. We are currently doing everything we can to get the wounded to hospital. Details to follow," Kaplin said.

Shelling of Ukraine on 20 March: what is known

As a reminder, on the night of 20 March, Russian troops attacked a number of regions in Ukraine with strike drones. Most of the enemy targets were destroyed by air defence forces.

At the same time, 19 strike drones were recorded hitting 13 locations, and downed enemy targets were found at 7 locations.

In particular, Russian occupiers attacked a port in the Odesa region with drones. Two civilian commercial vessels flying the flags of Palau and Barbados were damaged. They were moored at the quays and loaded with grain.

Administrative buildings were also damaged. Two people were injured.
