Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,550 troops in the war against Ukraine. Russia’s total losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have reached nearly 1.37 million.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have lost 1,550 soldiers in the war against Ukraine.

As of 5 June 2026, the total combat losses of the Russian Federation’s army since the start of the full-scale invasion, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, amount to approximately 1,370,890 personnel.

The Defence Forces also destroyed two Russian tanks over the past 24 hours. Total losses of this equipment have risen to 11,980 units.

The number of armoured combat vehicles destroyed increased by eight, reaching 24,684 units. The Russian army lost a further 68 artillery systems, bringing the total number of such equipment destroyed to 43,315 units.

Losses of multiple launch rocket systems over the past 24 hours amounted to two units, and air defence systems to one unit. In total, 1,832 MLRS and 1,404 air defence systems have been destroyed.

The number of operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) destroyed rose by 2,046 units to reach 329,772. The Russian army also lost 14 ground-based robotic systems.

In addition, 329 units of motor vehicles and tankers were destroyed over the past 24 hours. Total losses of this type of equipment amount to 103,300 units. Losses of specialised equipment increased by two units, reaching 4,250.

Meanwhile, the number of aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, ships and submarines destroyed over the past 24 hours remained unchanged.

The General Staff noted that data on enemy losses is being updated.
