US senators introduce resolution supporting Ukraine ahead of Trump's speech

The document was initiated by Democratic Senator Jean Shaheen and Republican Senator Tom Tillis, who are co-chairs of the US Senate's NATO oversight group.
The resolution was also supported by at least 26 other senators, equally from the Democratic and Republican parties. In total, this represents more than a quarter of the US Senate.
According to Reuters, the document aims to demonstrate the US Congress's support for Ukraine amid Russia's war against Ukraine.
The resolution was introduced a few hours before US President Donald Trump's annual address to Congress.
