Ukrainian Defence Forces continue systematic strikes on strategic targets of Russia's military-industrial complex and oil refining industry. On the night of 17 December 2025, Deep Strike units hit the infrastructure of Slaviansk oil refinery in the city of Slavyansk in the Kuban region of the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.
Explosions and a fire were recorded near the target, the extent of the damage is being clarified. It is known that the Slaviansk refinery has a capacity of about 5.2 million tonnes of oil and condensate per year and is used to supply the Russian armed forces.
The damage to the territory of the Nikolaevskaya oil depot in Rostov region has also been confirmed. According to preliminary data, a fuel tank and a riverboat Captain Hiebert.
On the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, Ukrainian forces struck a field artillery depot of the 101st separate logistics brigade of the Russian army. The enemy's losses are currently being clarified.
In addition, based on the results of the analysis of previous operations, the damage to the R. Greifer drilling rig in the waters of the Caspian Sea on 14 December was confirmed. A stationary platform with a gas treatment and pumping module was damaged, which led to the shutdown of all 14 wells with a total production of almost 3.5 thousand tonnes of gas per day.
