The sanctions list includes Russian citizen Sergey Zelenyuk, who is listed as a broker of so-called zero-day exploits, as well as individuals associated with him, including Oleg Kucherov, Marina Vasanoch and Uzbek citizen Azizjon Mamashov.
The US Treasury Department also imposed sanctions on several companies, including MATRIX LLC, Advance Security Solutions and Special Technology Services LLC FZ, which, according to OFAC, are involved in cyber tools activities.
