The Cabinet of Ministers has taken a number of personnel decisions: it has dismissed two deputy defence ministers and appointed new officials at the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the State Statistics Service and the State Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources.

This was announced by Taras Melnychuk, the Cabinet of Ministers’ representative in the Verkhovna Rada. Additional information about the officials has been taken from the official websites of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the State Statistics Service, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, and the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

Who has been dismissed from the Ministry of Defence

The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Ivan Havryliuk from the post of Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine.

The government has also dismissed Yevhen Moysyuk from the post of Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine.

The reasons for the dismissals are not specified in the statement.

New appointment at the Ministry of Digital Transformation

Olga Krevska has been appointed Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for European Integration.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation reported that in this role she will be responsible for harmonising Ukrainian technological standards with European ones, negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU, and the development of global partnerships.

Krevska has been working in the field of European integration for over eight years. She joined the Ministry of Digital Transformation team in July 2020.

One of the main priorities of her work is said to be Ukraine’s full integration into the EU’s Digital Single Market. She will also coordinate Chapter 10 of the accession negotiations, ‘Digital Transformation and Media’, as part of Ukraine’s EU accession process.

Staff changes at the State Statistics Service

Nadiya Melnyk has been appointed First Deputy Head of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

On the official website of the Main Department of Statistics in Kyiv, Nadiya Melnyk is listed as the head of this department.

She is thus moving to the central office of the State Statistics Service from the state statistics system, where she previously held a senior position at the regional level.

Appointment at the State Service of Geology and Subsoil

Serhiy Vlasenko has been appointed Deputy Head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine for digital development, digital transformation and digitalisation.

In addition, Vlasenko has been temporarily assigned to perform the duties of Head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine.

Prior to this, he served as Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine for digital development, digital transformation and digitalisation.

Appointments for the Kyiv Regional State Administration

The Cabinet of Ministers has also approved the appointment of Nataliia Melnychuk as Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

On the official website of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Nataliia Melnychuk is listed as Head of the Support Service to the Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.
