On the night of 4 July, the Russian occupying authorities temporarily closed the Crimean Bridge to traffic following a drone attack. Explosions and fires were reported in various parts of the occupied peninsula

This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda

Explosions were heard in the Kerch area

According to the Telegram channel ‘Crimean Wind’, the attack began at around 11.00 pm and lasted until at least 2.00 am. Residents of Kerch reported a series of powerful explosions.

Following the attack, NASA’s FIRMS service detected fire hotspots, notably near the military airfield in Dzhankoy, the ferry terminal in Kerch and the Novotroitskaya wind farm.

Traffic across the Crimean Bridge resumed at two o’clock in the morning

Following the air strike, the occupying authorities temporarily closed the Crimean Bridge to traffic.

At around 02:13, the Russian administration announced that traffic had resumed. Shortly after 2 am, Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Russian-appointed ‘governor’ of Sevastopol, also declared an air raid alert.

The occupying authorities have not officially reported any possible damage or consequences of the night-time attack.
