The Defence Forces struck the ‘Dubna’ space communications centre in the Moscow Region
On 21 June and during the night of 22 June, units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out strikes against a number of targets belonging to the Russian aggressor.
Among the targets hit was the ‘Dubna’ space communications centre in the Moscow region. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that extensive smoke was visible at the site. Details of the damage caused are being clarified.
The ‘Dubna’ space communications centre confirmed the drone attack. Its press office stated that television broadcasting and communications were not disrupted. It was also reported that no staff were injured.
In addition, the Ukrainian military struck a training ground for drone operators in the Debaltseve area of Luhansk Oblast. Strikes were also carried out on UAV command centres in the Mirnograd and Peremohy areas of Donetsk Oblast.
Separately, command and observation posts of Russian forces were struck in the Ilok-Penkovka area of the Belgorod Oblast in the Russian Federation and near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk Oblast.
The Defence Forces also struck a road bridge in the Vasylivka area of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. According to the General Staff, this facility is used to deploy troops and supply the Russian army.
Following further analysis, it has been confirmed that on 21 June, infrastructure at the ‘Kavkaz’ port in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation and two road ferries were struck. These facilities are used to supply Russian troops in the southern regions of Ukraine.
