Over the past 24 hours, there have been 256 combat engagements on the front line. Russian forces engaged in the most intense fighting in the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk and Huliaipole sectors.

The 1,594th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 256 combat engagements took place on the front line over the past 24 hours.

Russian troops carried out 96 air strikes, dropping 292 guided bombs. The enemy also deployed 8,825 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,913 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 37 using multiple launch rocket systems. Areas around the settlements of Ulanove and Tovstodubove in the Sumy region were targeted by air strikes.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck 14 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, as well as three artillery systems.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy launched two assaults on Ukrainian troops’ positions, carried out one air strike using a guided aerial bomb, and conducted 48 shelling attacks, two of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 12 attacks near Starytsia and Vilcha, as well as in the direction of Lyman, Radkivka, Khatne, Izbytske and Shevyakivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched two attacks in the direction of Novoosynove and Novoplatonivka. In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian units repelled nine attacks in the areas of Stavky and Dibrova, as well as in the direction of Hrekivka and Novoselivka.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops carried out 33 assaults near Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka and in the direction of Rai Oleksandrivka.

No assaults were recorded on the Kramatorsk sector.

On the Kostiantynivka front, the enemy carried out 16 attacks in the areas of Rusyn Yar, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and in the direction of Oleksandro Shultyn and Stepanivka.

The enemy was most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 attacks. Fighting took place near Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, as well as in the direction of Myrne, Novopavlivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Novopidhorodne, Kuchero-Yar, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Dorozhne, Hryshyne and Udachne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the invaders launched four attacks in the direction of Voskresenka, Novohryhorivka, Oleksandrohrad and Verbove.

On the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers made 21 attempts to advance near Rybne, Zaliznychne and Novoselivka, as well as in the direction of Charivne, Pryvilne, Hirke, Rizdvyanka and Kopaniv.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled one attack in the direction of Plavni. No assault operations were recorded in the Dnipro sector.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.

According to the General Staff, the Russian army lost 1,420 troops over the past 24 hours. The Defence Forces also destroyed seven tanks, 16 armoured fighting vehicles, 63 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, three air defence systems, 12 ground-based robotic systems, three missiles, 1,979 drones, 580 vehicles and four pieces of specialised equipment.
