Ukraine plans to sign a ‘Drone Deal’ with seven NATO countries by the end of 2026 — The Guardian
The Guardian reports this.
As the publication notes, Kyiv has already signed six ‘Drone Deal’ agreements, three of which are with countries in the Middle East, specifically Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, which have entered into a defence partnership with Ukraine against the backdrop of the US and Israel’s war with Iran.
The other three countries are Azerbaijan, Lithuania and Latvia. According to a Guardian source, Ukraine plans to conclude a further seven ‘Drone Deal’ defence agreements with NATO countries by the end of the year.
Davyd Aloyan, Deputy Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council, told the publication that Ukraine will now focus more on cooperation with NATO countries, particularly those located closer to the border with Russia.
